Johnnie A. Ricks
LEXINGTON — Johnnie A. Ricks, 76, Lexington, formerly of Morganfield, died Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, at his home.
He was a retired coal miner.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Nancy McCann Ricks; his second wife, Edna McKendree Ricks; and his parents, Freddie and Allie Ricks.
Survivors include three sons, John Ricks of Lexington, Larry Ricks of Bedford, Ind., and Scott Ricks of Clarksville, Ind.; three stepchildren, Cindy Danhauer, Jennifer Broadhurst and Eric Fowler, all of Henderson; two sisters, Mary Thomas of Harrison, Ark., and Nancy Miller of Plant City, Fla.; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Whitsell Funeral Home in Morganfield. The Rev. Dwight Jackson will officiate. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Morganfield.
Friends may call after 11 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
