Neonatal nurse — that’s the one I have been thinking about since last year. I will have a lot of preparing to do for this career, but it will be worth it!
Neonatal nurses are miracle workers. If you know the babies in NICU, then you know who these wonderful people are. These nurses take care of the babies when they are very sick. Most of the infants have life-threatening conditions.
Doctors are there, but the neonatal nurses are the ones who actually take care of the babies. People should pay more attention to the nurses. They help save kids who are all grown up now.
What do I need to do to prepare for this career? Well, first I need to be sure to get good grades on my report cards. Then I will need to earn my high school diploma. I will then have to decide what college I will go to. While I am going to college I will need a little money, so that means I will have to work while I am in college. I don’t know if I will live on campus or live in my own apartment. That depends on what would be cheaper. After I get my four-year degree I will have to take a year of medical training. Then off to find a job!
That’s what I need to do to become a neonatal nurse. I think my little job during college will be working at a fast-food restaurant. My big job will be helping to save your baby’s life.

If I could choose any job in the world, I would choose to be an electric salesman like my dad. I want to work at Tri-State Lighting. My dad is my inspiration, so I would like to be just like him. Yeah, Tri-State doesn’t give as much money as a doctor or something, but I’d rather be like my dad and poor than be rich and be nothing like him. I would like to have a side job of taxidermy, too. Taxidermy can be messy, but the outcome is amazing. Plus you earn about $600 per deer mount. I don’t think I will want to work on taxidermy as long as my dad has though. He has been a taxidermist for a long time.

The career I am interested in at this moment is a military combatant. I am interested in this because I come from a long line of veterans. Military combat is 20 percent physical, 80 percent mental. The way I will train for this is to work hard in everything I do, even in school.

When I grow up I would like my career to be a doctor. I would want to be a doctor because I think it is interesting how the human body works. I would like to be a children’s doctor. I think this would be the best career for me because I love little kids and I like to help people in any way I can. Learning about the human body and different medicines seems very interesting to me. I hope one day I can go to a good college and medical school that can help me pursue this career.

When I grow up I want to become a video game designer. I want to be a game designer because I have been playing video games my whole life and that would be a good job for me. I want to make a really good video game and form a known company for video games. A video game designer is someone who gets on a computer program made for designing a video game and creates a game like “Guitar Hero,” and other games that are really popular.

When I grow up I want to be a doctor because knowing that I just saved someone would feel glorious. Doctors are kind of like heroes, since they save people in times of peril. I also love the science of the human body. If you want to be a doctor, you need to be intelligent, brave, and dedicated.
To prepare to be a doctor I need to pay a lot of attention during science, health, and math classes. Amazing grades are very necessary in the medical profession. Some people are afraid of blood and other medical substances, but not me! Doctors must not cower away from even the grossest disasters. Before I become a doctor, I must go through many years of college and to do so I must be dedicated. Unless you are dedicated to becoming a doctor, you might quit.

I would like to be a college sports uniform designer. I think it would be fun to work with different colors and designs to put on college uniforms.
To get to this type of career, I would make my own designs for different things. I would design my own uniforms, make a different layout of the uniform, and pick different colors to put on the uniform. Most uniform designers work for one team. I would work for the NCAA, The National Collegiate Athletic Association.
Although it would be a fun job, it would be very hard to get. I would have to have super ideas. I would have to work very hard.
All in all, even though it seems fun, a uniform designer would be a very hard job to get. That’s what I would like to do as a job.

What do I want to be when I grow up? I want to be a hairstylist because it would be fun to do hair, like braiding, french-braiding and haircuts, too. I have been doing some of my friends’ hair and they think I do a good job. I have been successful every time I do braids. Doing hair has been a lifetime of work for me. I have not exactly done it for a long time, but more like six years now. But it is a good profession to do in life for a long time and then retire after about 20 years. It is good to do when it’s raining outside and you get bored and need something to do. Hope you can pick this profession too one day.

The career that I am interested in at this time is marine biologist. I am interested in this because I love the ocean. This job will let me be around it almost every day. To prepare myself for this job, I would have to do a lot. I would need to study animals, plants, how the ocean moves, and many other things. I would also need a scuba-diving license. It takes a lot, but it will be worth it to me.

At this time I want to be a chef. I love to cook. If I want to be a chef, I should start cooking a lot and figure out certain recipes. I should also go to culinary school. When I go to culinary school, I should focus and keep my mind on track to my future career as a chef. I hope to work in the world’s best restaurants. Then if I get that far, I would wish to meet some of the best chefs in America and other countries. Eventually I wish to travel the world.

In the future I think I would like to be an architect. I think that it sounds really fun to be able to design different things for people. I’m not sure if I might change my mind later in life about what I want to be. But whatever I do, I think that it is important to choose a job that I will really like and never get bored of doing.
To become an architect I need to be really good at math. I’m not terrible at math, but it’s not my best subject. So if I really want to become an architect, I will have to work harder in math. To become an architect I will also have to go to college and take a lot of very hard math classes. But that’s OK because I know that I will be working toward getting a job that I really love.

Some kids don’t know for a long time what they want to be when they get older. My mom, for example, didn’t know what she wanted to be until her senior year in high school. I’ve known just about my whole life what I wanted to be though, and that is a writer.
Well, I guess I should be more specific. I actually want to be a sports writer. I’ve always loved sports. I’ve played everything from basketball to tennis, football to golf. No matter what sport it is, I love playing and writing about it. Just a few years ago, it came to my attention that I wasn’t going to be able to go pro in any sport (that was my Plan B), so that was what really confirmed my future career dream.
There are actually a few different stages of sports writing. The first would be writing the sports column for a local newspaper. The second is writing bigger stories for larger companies, such as Sports Illustrated and ESPN. The third and final stage would be writing actual books on your own, like Mike Lupica. Personally, I am not very good at writing long stories or books, so the best fit for me would probably be stage two.
Writing is not something that you can just walk right into though; there are a lot of things you have to do to make it. The one degree I pretty much have to have would be one in journalism, but it doesn’t hurt to have a communication degree as well. The list doesn’t just involve college preparation though; there is a lot of pre-college preparation that can help also.
In school I make the most of every chance I get to write in my English and literature classes. I also make up my own portfolio of all my writing assignments so if I ever need them, I’ll have them. I also like to write big stories about big events that happen in my life such as my sister’s college graduation and my family’s trip to Minnesota to see my brother.
In conclusion, there is nothing I would rather do than write for a living. I mean, what is better than getting paid for the thing you most enjoy doing?

I want to be a Marine when I grow up. I want to be one because I want to protect the country. I want to be able to be a sergeant and have my own platoon to control. It would be cool to have that authority. Getting to shoot a gun every day would be cool to me. When I’m older, I will be able to be one. First, I have to graduate, then join the military afterward.

When I grow up, I want to be a professional softball player. I want to be a professional softball player because it is very active and you can stay fit. It’s like a big workout. It’s healthy because you are running around. It helps your legs get stronger. When you swing the bat, it makes your arms stronger and makes it easier to hit the ball. But when you’re playing softball, you have to drink lots of water so you don’t pass out. You will feel better about yourself. And you can make new friends. But it’s not all about winning; it’s about having fun.
