MOSCOW (Reuters) – A blast at the Azot chemical plant in Russia’s region of Perm killed three people on Monday, the Interfax news agency cited the Emergency Ministry as saying.

The blast occurred during maintenance work, Russian news agencies cited the ministry as saying. Russian fertilizer producer Uralchem owns the plant.
