The IAAF World Relays are a global competition featuring men’s and women’s 4×100, 4×200, 4×400 and 4×800 meters relays and a mixed 4×400 meters relay race.

The third edition will be held on Saturday and Sunday in Nassau, Bahamas, the site of the previous competitions in 2014 and 2015.

The top eight finishers in the 4x100m and 4x400m relays for men and women will automatically qualify for the IAAF world championships in London in August.

More than 500 athletes representing 34 federations will be competing for $1.26 million in prize money.

The United States are the defending men’s 4×100 meters relay champions and will feature a team of Ronnie Baker, Marvin Bracy, Leshon Collins, Justin Gatlin and Mike Rodgers.

Jamaica, the 2014 winners and 2015 silver medallists, have a squad of Kemar Bailey-Cole, Yohan Blake, Everton Clarke, Julian Forte, Jevaughn Minzie and Asafa Powell.

Jamaican’s defending women’s 4x100m relay champions will be out for more gold with a team of Gayon Evans, Simone Facey, Sashalee Forbes, Natasha Morrison, Elaine Thompson and Christania Williams.
