Bank of New York Mellon Corp (BK.N) named Visa Inc’s (V.N) former chief executive Charles Scharf as its CEO, effective immediately.
(Reuters) – Bank of New York Mellon Corp (BK.N) named Visa Inc’s (V.N) former chief executive Charles Scharf as its CEO, effective immediately.
Scharf will replace Gerald Hassell, who will continue to serve as chairman of the board through Dec. 31, BNY said on Monday.
