PARIS (Reuters) – Last weekend’s anti-government protests resulted in a 17 percent drop in the number of visitors to French shopping centers, said a body representing the French shopping center industry on Monday.
Earlier on Monday, both the French Finance Minister and the Bank of France warned that the protests, which began in November but intensified and became more violent in December, would hit the French economy.
